A younger boy has dodged life-threatening accidents following a horror fall right into a gorge north of Perth.

Daniel Ford, 7, suffered a number of fractured vertebrae and sustained a 30cm gash to his brow after he plunged 5 metres into Joffre Gorge in Karijini Nationwide Park on October 2.

However these accidents weren’t sufficient to maintain the beaming boy down, who has since recovered in Perth Hospital with no paralysis.

Daniel was on a visit together with his household when he slipped into the gorge about 9am.

Emergency staff, together with the WA Police, SES vertical rescue workforce, St John’s WA, and close by staff from Fortescue Metals needed to scale the favored gorge to winch the boy out of hassle.

The gorge is positioned greater than 1400km north of Perth in distant nationwide parkland.
