MADURAI: DMK parliamentary get together chief T R Baalu has written to Union minister of agriculture and farmers welfare, rural improvement and meals processing industries Narendra Singh Tomar urgent for the Centre’s intervention to make sure an equal fishing house and rights for Tamil Nadu fishermen in sea off Katchatheevu islet.
Within the letter, the previous Union minister for delivery identified the ‘unprovoked battle’ between Indian fishermen from Rameswaram and the Sri Lankan navy off Katchatheevu on Saturday. He condemned the Lankan navy’s motion.
